For two decades Duncan has been a composer, performer, engineer, producer, poet and management consultant, collaborating with various projects across the UK and Europe.

Since 2017 he has mentored undergraduate and postgraduates at Bath Spa University and Goldsmiths University in understanding intellectual property and copyright, creative enterprise, artist management, songwriting and audio production, with the ethos of wanting to empower them to make informed choices on their careers as creators.

His freelance clients have included artists and companies such as: JJ Draper (Faber Alt), Kayla Painter, Gavin Thorpe, The Bay Rays (AWAL), Hattie Whitehead (Nova Music), VASSIŁINA, Squareglass Records, SARM Studios, BMG Rights Management, Red Light Management, Sony Music, Universal Music, PIAS, AWAL and the charity Youth Music.
